On April 29th, 2023, The Shine Project Foundation will host its annual Good Vibes Reggaefest at the Helia Brewery in Vista from 3-10 pm. This event is a groovy, family-friendly fundraiser where participants of all ages can enjoy live music from local reggae bands and musicians! Not only will there be music, but our Reggaefest incudes San Diego food vendors, chair massages, retail vendors, a raffle, and a silent auction. With over 500 attendees each year, this event is a great opportunity to showcase your business to local San Diego families! All funds raised will go directly towards providing free enrichment and inclusive community events for children, teens, and young adults with special needs. Support our event by becoming a sponsor today!
The Shine Project Foundation was created to help fulfill a gap between children with special needs and the accessibility and inclusivity that is currently lacking within communities. We work to bridge this gap by partnering with businesses and organizations that welcome and foster accessibility and inclusivity. Nearly 1 out of 5 children in the United States have a special healthcare need, yet those with special needs, especially those from low-income families, are incredibly limited to experiences that develop vocational skills. Our mission is to create a more accessible community that allows all children, teens, and young adults to shine regardless of their special needs!
Through the support of our generous donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we are able to host free events for these families, allowing them to explore their interests, develop social, creative, and vocational skills, while simultaneously spreading awareness and building more accessible community resources. Without the kindness of our sponsors, our families would not be able to participate in these events free of cost.
