THE SHINE PROJECT FOUNDATION

Creating access to inclusive community events and support for special needs families. Together, we SHINE!

The Shine Project Foundation’s Mission is dedicated to bridging the gap between special needs families and their communities by providing free inclusive enrichment programs, caregiver wellness events, and access and support to vital resources. Shine creates safe, welcoming spaces for families to build confidence, develop relationships, and explore their unique strengths. Through these efforts, Shine reduces isolation, empowers families, and helps communities become more inclusive so every individual has the opportunity to thrive and SHINE.

Signature Shine Enrichment Events

Shine Signature Inclusive Enrichment events bring together children, teens, and young adults with special needs and their families to experience joy, creativity, and connection in welcoming, supportive environments. Through activities such as Discover Arts, Beach Fun Days, Family Field day, and Caregiver Wellness Experiences, we create meaningful opportunities for families to build relationships, access resources, and truly feel a sense of belonging in their community.

Food To Grow Program

Food to Grow is a free inclusive program rooted in the belief that food is medicine, connecting special needs families and young adults to healthy food, hands-on farm experiences, and community. Through family farm camps, an internship pathway to the workforce, and monthly community gatherings, participants build life skills, confidence, and meaningful connections.
