THE SHINE PROJECT FOUNDATION

Bridging the gap between special needs families and their communities.

Together, We Can SHINE!

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The Shine Project Foundation is a public benefit nonprofit 501c3 in Carlsbad, California.  We aim to bridge the gap between families with children, teens, and young adults with special needs and local communities by partnering with businesses and organizations to provide special enrichment events and inclusive opportunities.  We are proud to host our complimentary signature events, Shine Beach Fun Days, Shine Arts Showcase and Dance, Shine Field day and Family Picnic, Food to Grow Camps and Caring for the Caregiver Experiences.

HEALING

Engaging with nature, the arts, sports, mindfulness, and community connection offers special needs families profound enrichment and healing. Nature provides calming, sensory-friendly spaces, while the arts empower creativity and self-expression. Sports encourage physical growth and bonding, and mindfulness supports emotional balance for both children and caregivers. Finally, community connections foster understanding and support, helping families feel seen, valued, and empowered.
