The Holidays are fast approaching and it’s that time of the year to give thanks and share the spirit giving to 10 local deserving special needs families. Be a part of the Shine Project Foundation’s Annual Holiday Gift Outreach on 12/16/23 at Las Flores Church in Carlsbad 10-1pm. Shine your light by being a sponsor and adopting one of our families. You can personally help to make the season bright by providing them with gifts and items they need. You will get a chance to learn more about your family during the months of November and December. You will be able to meet and present your gifts to the family on the day of the event. The goal of this event is to bridge the gap between our special needs family and their local community by providing support, access, and resources. We also would like to foster a relationship with the families and their sponsors by facilitating social events in the upcoming year as well as provide family updates.
The true gift of the holiday is connection, support, and the joy of helping others. If you are a local business, organization, and or an individual that would love to SHINE your light to help special needs families this holiday season, please consider adopting one of our families. We ask that you donate a minimum of $500 towards gifts and daily necessities towards the family that you will purchase and present to the family the day of the Holiday festival. Please provide receipts in order to receive your tax exemption. There is no further obligation to provide any more donations throughout the year just your time to connect and show support when we have our Shine Community Connection Socials with our 10 families 3 times in the upcoming year.
