Carli Gastineau serves as the Director of the Self-Determination and Resource Support Program for The Shine Project Foundation. She brings together operational leadership, community connection, and lived experience in her role.Growing up navigating disability systems herself, Carli understands how overwhelming and isolating they can be. That personal journey fuels her deep commitment to creating clarity, accessibility, and dignity within every program she leads. Her early involvement with organizations like Team Hoyt and Shine helped her discover the power of belonging, experiences that continue to shape her person-centered, inclusive approach to support.In her role at Shine, Carli oversees program development, resource navigation, and Self-Determination services. She is known for simplifying complex processes, building strong partnerships, and uplifting the voices of individuals who are often overlooked. Carli believes lived experience is a powerful form of expertise, and she uses that perspective to create pathways where every person has the opportunity to be seen, supported, and able to shine in their own way.
