Seeing the faces and smiles of the local children with special needs and their families of the surrounding Tamarindo areas light up as they enjoyed surfing in the waves, playing in the sand with volunteers, and savoring a catered lunch at Playa Avellanas, Costa Rica on July 5th was incredible! This all would not have been possible without the collaboration, organization, kind donations, and support from the following sponsors and local community volunteers.
A huge Thank you to all that was involved in helping to make these children and families SHINE! We would also like to Thank the many sponsors and donors that helped us to host and raise funds during our SHINE Fundraiser this past June. The money raised went to host our 2 Beach Fun Events in Encinitas, California and Playa Avellanas, Costa Rica.
With your continued support and donations, we will be able to provide specialized enrichment events and activities like our Beach Fun event series, Special Families Field day and Picnic, and the Shine Discovery Arts Events that will help all children with special needs to have opportunities for a better quality of life and to SHINE!
