On November 12^th-13^th, 2022 The Shine Project Foundation will host its 2^nd Annual Surf & Turf Fundraiser in Carlsbad, CA. This exciting event is a combination of two San Diegan favorites – surfing and golf! The weekend starts with an 18-course golf tournament at the Goat Hill Golf Course in Oceanside. Afterwards, teams and guests will enjoy an after-party with food, drinks, music, and more! The next morning, the competition continues at Tamarack State Beach where guests will enjoy a beautiful day while surfers compete for the win! The day ends with a dinner and award ceremony at Señor Grubby’s. All funds will go towards supporting The Shine Project Foundation’s mission to provide fun activities for families with special needs, and create a more accessible community that allows all children, teens, and young adults to SHINE regardless of their special needs!

This year, our Surf and Turf Fundraiser is not just about funding our events, but we are now ready for The Shine Project Foundation to expand and become essential to the San Diego community. With the funds raised, we hope to be able to reach even more families with special needs AND create the Shine Certified Businesses Program for families to know what businesses in San Diego actively create a safe and welcoming environment for the special needs community.
