On Friday, February 3, 5:30-8pm at Ocean Knoll Elementary School in Encinitas, California, The Shine Project Foundation hosted our very 1st Arts Showcase and Dance for children with special needs.  The crowd watched in amazement as brave, talented, and creative individuals with special needs shared their gifts.  Guests explored making ceramics, painting their own Jackson Pollock, played different percussion instruments, danced to brain power routines, drew and colored, danced to the sounds of DJ David, and enjoyed the delicious pizza and chicken sandwiches, chips, and drinks.

It was a night of talent, exploration, and the community working together to support a night of the fine and performing arts.  This event would not be a success nor be possible without the support and donations of local businesses and organizations.  A huge thank you to those who participated and donated their time, services, and delicious food.  You helped our guests SHINE!
