The Shine Project Foundation sent 4 volunteers with The Tamarindo Church on a mission trip to a very impoverished government project called Cristo Rey. This barrio is located next to the new national dump, and many of the people living here depend on scavenging through the trash for survival.
Thanks to donations from Shine supporters, we were able to provide materials for and facilitate arts and crafts fro 60 small children, contribute to the construction of 4 homes, and serve food daily, including a food distribution day which provided 350 families with a weeks worth of groceries. This trip was a great success and was life-changing for all of those who were involved. Please consider continuing to support our efforts to serve the poor by DONATING to The Shine Project Foundation.
